It all starts with a 2016 Ford F550 Supercab 4×4 XL 162″WB/60″CA chassis that we option the 6.7L all Ford Powerstroke diesel, 6-speed automatic, 4.88 limited slip axle and MaxTrac 19.5 tires. We also add the Payload plus package to move the GVWR to 19.5K, tariler brake controller, block heater, spare tire and wheel, HD alternator and black platform cab steps.
Our vendor then has this custom flatbed/combo body with removable sides and front compartments with center tool box manufactured. All boxes feature three point T handles and the entire assembly is manufactured with A60 Galveneel and E-coated in a state of art process. In short this body will not rust. They then install a massive butt plate with receiver tube and heavy duty D-rings. The quality of workmanship and pride is unmatched. The final piece…. we have a vendor in Florida that manufactures a Skid plate specifically for the F450/550 line that protects the transmission and transfer case from breakover point damage.
